Even if IT is your core business, setting up your own Data Center or computer room is an expensive proposition both in terms of money, time and deployment of human resources. Apart from the high capital costs there are the high day-to-day management costs. Routinely adding new services or upgrading to the latest technology is also not feasible. In this scenario it makes sense to outsource this service to a Colocation, carrier-neutral Data Center like CoSentry.
Colocation with CoSentry offers you the flexibility to upscale (or even downscale) your technology and requirements as your business grows (or slows down), without having to make repeated capital investments. When you enter into a Colocation agreement with CoSentry you pay a much lower annual fee and are assured of a high level of services without the bother.

Colocation Video
Darian Davis: In this video, I'd like to share with you more information about colocation services with CoSentry – in particular, power infrastructure. As you know, power can continue, or will continue, to rise in cost, and many of our customers are struggling with that and how to manage their own power services. I have a customer who recently shared with me that their own data center manager has continued to struggle with keeping their infrastructure cool enough to run and to maintain it. And therefore, he then charges back that particular cost center for the cost of that cooling. And it's just getting more and more expensive. It turns out, it will actually be less expensive for that customer to colocate with us, because we're able to take advantage of a shared power infrastructure and offer them much more competitive pricing.
